Everything I make is done by my hands. So it’s actually hard for me to not love this amazing flat thingy attached with five long thingy.
To pay an hommage to my own hands, I wanted to make them a main character in the world full of hands.
I always enjoy giving a little twist to my works, so at first look (or in a thumbnail) it’s just two ordinary hands.
Then as the arms rip off from the hands, their faces are shown.
Faces of the hands are inspired by my favorite Holiday in the world,
‘El Día de los Muertos’ from Mexico.
I also put a lot of efforts to make a world full of hands that gives the impression of neverending continuity.
